It finally cooled down!!!! Hey y'all, I hope things have gone well for you. Things are going pretty well here in the Palm Harbor ward! This week was really cool. it has been different from other weeks. I have learned that Elder Mainor is really good at studies. That is something that I can definitely improve upon. I am excited to keep learning a lot. The coolest things that happened this week both involve the Marcucci family. Brother Marcucci is the Ward mission leader here in the Palm Harbor ward. He is amazing. We were able to come up with a rough draft of a ward mission plan with him and he was very quick and efficient. We were also able to have dinner with the Marcucci family and they are just the coolest people. I am excited to keep working with him in this area. We were also able to have some cool experiences contacting. We met a pro skateboarder. His name is Nick Wallace and he was going to be in the x-games, but tore his acl or something....

Another Clearwater baptism and mission farewells. Hey Y'all. I hope things are going well for you. Things are going great right here in Palm Harbor. I have truly seen Heavenly Father's hand in this work. I hope you have been able to see that in your own life as well. This week was a roller coaster. On Tuesday I had to say goodbye to Elder Christensen. He is a great person and I hope he has a great post-mission life. I have learned so much from him and will try to apply what I learned throughout the entire time I was with him. I now have Elder Mainor as my companion. He is really good at asking people about if we can share our message which is something I can work on. I am excited to keep learning and growing in unity with him. Then Elder Mainor and I got to work in Palm Harbor. This has been a little stressful for me since this is the first time where I have had to take over the area. Hurricane Michael and Transfers Hey Y'all, I hope things have been going well for you. A lot has happened in the last week. I hope y'all have had an exciting week as I have here in Florida. The first thing that happened is that there was Hurricane Michael that Hit the Panhandle of Florida. Our mission was going to catch the very bottom of the Hurricane so on Monday we were told there was a 50/50 chance we might evacuate if we are on the coast. Then on Tuesday we were told to evacuate so Elder Christensen and I evacuated to the Assistant to the President's apartment in Tampa. That was cool. The only thing that happened with Hurricane Michael in my area was there was some flooding on the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs. By Wednesday afternoon we were already back in our area. The Florida Tallahassee mission did get hit pretty hard though. Please pray for them. Our stakes have been helping with the clean up, but as missionaries we don't get to clean up. That was sad t...
Great General Conference Weekend Hey y'all, I hope y'all are having a great day. Elder Christensen and I were able to have a great week here in Palm Harbor. This Monday we were able to have a good lesson again with Patrick. He had read the Plan of Salvation pamphlet we left with him last time and so we were able to help him understand that Plan of Happiness more. We invited him to be baptized, but he was kind of scared of Jumping in the font just yet. We feel like he will accept a baptismal date another day. We are excited for when that happens. Then we were able to watch General Conference. We were able to watch one session with The Svarckopf and the Demer's. They really did it! They made the 2 hour block!! This has been joked about in Richfield for years. I am excited to have more time to spend with family and learning the gospel on my own and as a family. The Great plan of Salvation Hey Y'all, I hope things are going well for you. Things are going great here in the Palm Harbor area. This week we were able to teach a cool man named Craig. We met him 2 weeks ago and the only concern he had is how he had not heard about the Restoration before. Hopefully we were able to address that and we committed him to read to find out if the Book of Mormon is true. I am excited to meet with him again this week. We also had interviews with President Cooper this week. It was super cool to hear the great advice he had for me. I am excited to try and apply it during my mission. We also had a really spiritual Why I believe fireside this week. We were able to have the Birds come this week and hear some recent converts tell their conversion stories and hear Elder Christensen sing. It was really great to have them there.
