Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hey Y'all, I hope that each of you had a great Christmas this year. Things were pretty good here. Hopefully New Year's can be just as fun. On Christmas eve we had a chance to attend a Christmas Eve party with the Gjoligu family. They had it super fun with singing classic Christmas carols, Sister Gjoligu reciting from memory twas the night before Christmas with people acting out the different parts and acting out the Nativity. It was a very fun night. Then Christmas was a very good day. We started out by visiting Curley. We were able to show him the Geurtler story and hear about how he started his business. We also had a good visit with Sisters Gleason and White. They are still having rat problems, but the ward is definitely putting forth a lot of effort to comfort and strengthen them. It has been awesome to see how people have reached out to them. Then for Christmas dinner we went over to the Brown's house. They had invited us and th...

I love to see the Temple Hey Y'all, I hope things are going well for Y'all. Christmas is in only a few days. I hope that you enjoy that wherever you are going to celebrate. I get to celebrate it with one of my recent converts so I am pretty ecstatic. This last week was pretty good. On Tuesday we were able to go on exchange with the Gulf Port Elders. They both came to our area and it was a blast. I went with Elder Scott and we were able to have a good lesson with Sister Black. She is an elderly Lady that lives in the complex next door to ours. We showed her the Christ Child and she was very grateful since the last time she watched her audio wasn't working so she was relieved to find out that she wasn't missing any important commentary in there. I was glad we could help her in that way. We also had a good visit with Sister Dessi. She is a part Member family in the area who hasn't been to church in awhile. She was very nice, but has some health problems that keep ...

A Sunday to remember. This was an interesting week. We we re able to have some cool stuff happen though. I hope each of you in college survived finals week and that you enjoy your Christmas break. This week we had a tiring discussion with our friend John. We went over just to see how he was doing and set up another time to meet and ended up watching the first 2 book of Mormon videos. In the second one he didn't agree that God would command Nephi to kill Laban. We had a discussion and I got a little contentious with him which I feel bad about. He did agree to have us come back and have another conversation with him. I am excited to see how it goes. We also had a good morning on Wednesday. The Seminole 2 Elders came over and had companionship study with us. They did some role plays of how to work in Ward Council and share the Christ Child with our friends. It was a good practice. We were able to go and show the Christ Child right ...

The pattern continues. Hey Y'all, Sorry. I am running out of time. I hope things are going well for Y'all. Those of you in college. I wish Y'all the best of luck on Finals coming up. They sure are brutal. Hopefully school isn't bad for the rest of Y'all as well. One good thing that happened this week is this Wednesday we were able to go over to our friend Gary's house and get some more work done there. We were able to help get his kitchen clean which took a little bit. It looks good now though. He is not sure how much longer he has. He is a good man and I am excited to keep helping him. We also had a good Christmas party. There were a lot of nonmembers including Buddy Lane. He was a front man for Glen Campbell back in the day. I have had the privilege of getting to know him personally and he is such a good man. He played a Christmas medley and it was amazing. The food was awesome too. We also had to start cleaning a Hoarders house. One of our nonmember frien...

Happy Late Thanksgiving Y'all Hey Y'all, I hope that each of you had a great Thanksgiving this year. It has been a good time here in the mission field. We had a feast at our church here with about 80 other people which was awesome. The food of course was fantastic. Hopefully it was just as great for all of you wherever you had Thanksgiving. The week went pretty well too. We started out on Tuesday doing some service with the Saint Pete Elders. This lady we met a few weeks ago is working on remodeling her house and had a pipe collapse so she had us come over to dig around it so the person coming to replace the pipe can do so easily. That went well for the first 50 feet. Then the fun began. In her backyard there are 2 giant trees probably planted when the house was made 50 or so years ago. They had grown over this pipe and there were giant roots everywhere. We worked really hard with our shovels around the outskirts of the tree digging up roots, but eventually we got rig...
