Thanksgiving and Transfers!!!   Hey y'all! Hopefully Thanksgiving went well for y'all. I know that it went well for us here in the Palm Harbor area.   This last week has been full of miracles. I have gained a surety this week that Heavenly Father is aware of me and everyone and that he truly is in the details of our lives. Multiple times this week Elder Mainor and I have received promptings on where to go and miracles have occurred. One of them is we felt like we should go to a neighborhood with a couple of people that we could stop by, but would most likely not be home. One of the people was Walt. He is always busy and the last 3 times we have tried to contact him it has not gone well. Then on Saturday he was supposed to work all day for one person and he finished early. That is how we were able to see him in his garage and talk to him. He was very kind and had us give him a couple of chapters to read from the Book of Mormon. He promised us that he would read them some day. I...
Date Set!   Hey Y'all. I hope things are going well for y'all. Hopefully your Thanksgiving will go well for you.    Sorry this email is going to be really short. We just got asked to help someone move in an hour and we have a couple more errands we have to run today. This last week was really good. The highlights are that last Monday we had another lesson with Patrick and he accepted a date to be baptized on December 8th. I am so excited for him. He also came to church this week which was amazing.   I also got to go on exchange with Elder Galland. That was really fun. He is a great Elder that I was able to learn a lot from. He was the Assistant to the President and picked me up from the airport so it was nice to be back with him after 6 months.   We also had a member meal with Brother Hartzog. He is a really rich member who gave us a tour of his house which at least part is like Versaille in France.   We also did a lot of service for Chad and Kris C. They a...
Christmas letter 2018 Hey Y'all, Merry Christmas! I hope that this time of year is great for you! I am so grateful for this time that I have to share my experience with you about what I have learned on my mission already. I hope this can benefit you or your children's missions.. The time that we have right now to serve a mission is amazing. I am so glad that I have the chance to dedicate my life to the Lord right now to serve him all day every day. That is not to say that there aren’t challenges in missionary work. There sure are a lot. I know that Heavenly Father blesses those who serve a mission either full time or every opportunity they get outside of full time missionary work. My favorite experience so far would probably be the help that I was able to give to the Beach family. They were a less active family that I was able to be a part of reactivating them while serving in the North Port ward. I was very excited to see them try to change their priorities to try to come to...
Stake conference!!!!!   Hey y'all,   I hope y'all had a great veterans day and day off today for that as well. I hope the rest of your week is as good as right now as well.   This last week was really good. We were able to find a couple of cool people this week. One person we met has said that he has had a lot of different questions about the Old testament that he hasn't been able to have answered. We were able to show him the gospel library and the institute manuals so hopefully that will be able to help him.   Elder Mainor and I are also still teaching Chris. He is really liking what we share. He shares with us each time about how he knows Jesus Christ died for our sins and that through him we are able to attain eternal life. We have another appointment with them on Thursday. I am so excited to keep teaching him.   Then this Saturday and Sunday were really cool. It was our stake conference so we were able to see President Cooper and President Bangerter and lis...

First a Hurricane, then a Tornado. Hey y'all,   I hope y'all had a great week. Hopefully Halloween went well and you are all able to feel full at least for a few days.   This week has been amazing here in Palm Harbor. There have been many miracles seen and I am glad that I am counted worthy to witness them. This week Elder Mainor and I were able to get a lot done. One thing that I credit to our success is that we are both trying to build a relationship with people before sharing the Gospel. I think that is something that my companions in the past have tried to jump to for a while. If you listen though, you will always find something that you can testify about and share with them. One example is we were able to talk to a man named Frank this week. He had just got off of work and so we decided to talk to him. He was very kind and very quickly decided to tell us his life story. It is really sad. He has lot both his wife and his son recently. If we would have just jumped in and tr...
