The Christ Child Hey Y'all, I hope it has been a good week for you so far. Things are going pretty well here in the mission field. This week we definitely saw some miracles and had some cool revelations as well. One miracle this week is we were having to wait for the Seminole 2 Elders to come pick us up from district council so we could switch which one of us had the car. As we were waiting, we decided to try calling some of the less active members of the ward, an idea Elder Wilson had given me a few weeks ago. One of the ladies we called answered and we asked if we could possibly share a breif message with her and she said it was not a good time because she was in the middle of getting ready to move. We asked if she would like our help and she said that she could use some help in the backyard. We set up a time to go over and ended up spending a couple hours filling in holes in her back yard that her dog had dug. She was super appreciative of our hel...

The things I never had supposed. Hey Y'all, I hope things are still going well for you. Things are going pretty well here in Sunny Florida. For those of you who don't know, it can get quite chilly in the winter here though. The past 2 days we had a high of about 60 degrees which may seem high compared to where you are at right now, but with the humidity, it is absolutely frigid. I had to bundle up in my sweater, jacket, and gloves to stay warm yesterday. This week we had a lot of crazy stuff happen. It started out with a really good exchange on Tuesday. Elder Wilson, my district leader, came to Seminole with me and we had a good day. We were able to visit with Gary who is a very nice man who has been taught on and off for the past 3 years. Super nice man. Elder Rankin and I were able to help him later on Sunday and he was super grateful. We helped him organize his storage room and his kitchen a little better and that really made his day. I am excited to keep working with him...

Meeting all the less-actives Hey Y'all, I hope Y'all had a great week. This week was a different week for me, but it went super well. We have met a lot of really less-active families that we are working with or will hopefully be working with shortly. That has been exciting. One of the coolest miracles that happened this week is we were able to stop by our friends John and Katie and John's mom was there. She was very strong in her faith and was trying to show us why her faith was correct. It was an interesting conversation about the kingdoms of Glory and the Priesthood, but was overall an o. K. Visit. The miracle is that when we were leaving Katie said " it is always crazy when you come over, but is always peaceful when you leave." It was a really good visit. Other than that, it has been a whole lot of stop by's and a couple service projects. One of the cool service projects we did is there was a lady named Sister Gleason who had a whole lot of overgrowth i...

Another Good week in Seminole. Hey Y'all I hope it was a good Halloween for Y'all. We had a pretty good time here. This email probably won't be too long. I don't have too much time, but I hope that y'all have a good week. So on Tuesday we had transfers so I got a new companion Elder Rankin. He is from Ashton, Idaho and is a hunter/fisher. He has been out 1 transfer longer than me which is funny since that was the only transfer before I went home that I didn't have a companion go home from now on. We had some cool miracles this week as well. We have been able to stop by quite a few less active members and help them out. One of them, the Gleason family let us right in and showed us some service she needed done. We are going back later this week and I am super excited. There was also a great little trunk or treat that we had. Our friends the Brownell's came and really enjoyed it. They are doing well. We are hopefully going to see them later this week. We als...

Christmas letter 2019 Hey Y'all, I hope things are going pretty well for you. The past year and a half has been amazing. This has definitely been one of the best experiences of my life. There are so many great experiences that have happened. I am sure each of your missionaries feels much the same. One of the best experiences of my mission so far was being able to see both of my recent converts at Stake conference. Both of them are super active. It was axing to talk to both of them and see how grateful they are and how happy they seem. I know that is my favorite part of being on a mission is seeing that change in people's lives. Another great part of the mission is all of the tender mercies you see. I have found that as you do your part to fulfill the assignment that the Lord has given you that he makes up the rest. We had an experience yesterday that shows that. We were finding late at night and were not seeing any success. I then got the impression to stop by one of my frien...
