Fun in the office.

Hey Y'all,

I hope things are going pretty well for you. Things are going pretty well here. I hope that things are going well for you before spring break.

Well this week started off by splitting up the dynamic duo from Sevier county. On Tuesday I left Elder Leavitt at the mission office to go home. I am definitely going to miss that man. I got to meet my new companion Elder Porter. He is the technology specialist for the mission and is super cool. He wants to go into IT when he grows up so if I have any technology questions he can answer it.  He is from New Mexico too so the ward is definitely happy to have someone not from Utah.

Then on Wednesday we were able to talk for a few minutes with Brandy. She is still wanting to get baptized and reading the Book of Mormon so we set her to be baptized this Saturday. She has been out of town though so I am not sure if it is going  to happen or not. I hope it goes well though and we are going to work like it is going to happen this week.

On Friday we had a good dinner with the Heinze family. They are a couple who recently moved in and are super nice. They had some good ideas for how to help the missionary work in this area and they would love to help. We may get them to come out to a lesson with Stephen this week. (Stephen is Stephen, we are still reading and he is still coming to church. I am excited to keep helping him.)

Then Thursday and Friday we spent most of the day in the office. Elder Porter has a lot of different tasks to make sure that missionaries have their area book and that they can track their miles and so on. It has been fun to get to know the senior missionaries and help them with their different tasks.

Then yesterday was stake conference and that was super fun. It was a very missionary minded conference and they had a lot of people who are preparing to serve or who have returned recently and it was awesome to hear their experiences.

We also had a classic missionary day. After that we went to Wesley Chapel which is where the richer people in the area live and so we went finding all day and none of the members we were trying to stop by were working out. Then the last members we decided to visit were super nice. The parents are active, but none of the children are. We were able to have a quick lesson with them which was super nice. I hope we can keep working with them and help them all come closer to Christ.

Other than that, it was a pretty normal week. I look forward to continuing to help those we have met and help in the office once a week as well. I hope that each of you find enjoyment in whatever you have going on this week. Until next time good luck and God Bless!
