Day 13 of self isolation.
Hey Y'all,
I hope you are all doing well in whatever form of isolation you are in. It sure has been crazy here, but we had some chances to escape the apartment which was good.
On Tuesday we had district council. It went pretty well. We had to have it over Facebook messenger so that presented it's challenges, but overall it went well. After that we went to the church and finished up our my plan trainings. They had some good advice and I am glad for the chance to start to think of some goals for when I head home next week.
Then on Wednesday Elder Porter and I had our final interviews with President Hollingsworth. It was a very spiritual experience. During the middle of mine a stake president called to see if a missionary was on a plane at that moment since he wasn't sure if they were supposed to be going home then or the next day. I am sure he is stressed out of his mind right now.
Then we got trapped the rest of the day helping people in the office. It was right in the middle of everyone going home and so it was absolutely hectic. It was sad to see so many missionaries going home. This sure is a crazy time.
Then on Thursday we were back in the office for Elder Porter's office work. We got some good stuff done. Later that night we tried to call Stephen , but it was the one day he was busy. We also had to say to Brandy that we will have to postpone her baptism and didn't set another date to get baptized. That was sad, but I felt the Lord leading our decision with that.
Friday was a tiring day. We were in Tampa moving the Senior Elders from one apartment to another in the same complex. We spent probably 4 hours so that was a very tiring day.
Then the weekend we spent calling people and teaching lessons to some of the members. It has been good to hear from them and try to help them. It has been pretty good.
Well, that's about it for us this week. I hope y'all have some good adventures this week. Until next week good luck and God Bless!
Elder Beard
