Weekend of a lot of miracles.

Hey y'all,


I hope it has been a good week for y'all. This week has been pretty crazy. A lot of good things are starting to form and I am excited to see how they turn out.


The first crazy miracle is there is this lady named Alli that I met right about the time I first got to this area. On Tuesday we were able to give her a Book of Mormon and by Saturday she had read the entire book. She also really opened up to us and we were able to figure out some of her concerns. I am excited to see how it goes for her.


We also had a good lesson with our friend Eli as well. As we talked with him. He told us that a week before we met him he had the thought he should get baptized. It was amazing that the Lord put us in the path to help him. We were also able to commit him to the 15 step program. He was scared for a bit that he couldn't give up coffee, but he then said that he would. I was so proud of him.


We also had a good visit with someone named Aloicious. He is someone we met 6 weeks ago in our apartment complex and it was a great little conversation. It turns out that he is a chaplain and that he hands out  Books of Mormons at the VA. We were able to give him his own copy and will hopefully be able to meet with him again soon. It was amazing.


We also had a cool experience last night. We knocked on a door and this family that recently moved here from Utah let us in. They were super nice people and had dinner for us. It was an amazing tender mercy to end the week. We are going back to share a quick message some time, but I am excited to see how things go.

Thanksgiving and Transfers!!!   Hey y'all! Hopefully Thanksgiving went well for y'all. I know that it went well for us here in the Palm Harbor area.   This last week has been full of miracles. I have gained a surety this week that Heavenly Father is aware of me and everyone and that he truly is in the details of our lives. Multiple times this week Elder Mainor and I have received promptings on where to go and miracles have occurred. One of them is we felt like we should go to a neighborhood with a couple of people that we could stop by, but would most likely not be home. One of the people was Walt. He is always busy and the last 3 times we have tried to contact him it has not gone well. Then on Saturday he was supposed to work all day for one person and he finished early. That is how we were able to see him in his garage and talk to him. He was very kind and had us give him a couple of chapters to read from the Book of Mormon.   "I'LL BE HOME FOR (EASTER)" Hey Y'all,   Wow, this is it. My final weekly and final day in the Tampa Florida mission. Time really has flown by. I never thought I would get to this day. I have enjoyed every second of it though in retrospect at least.   So this week was pretty slow. We have had some good things happen. One exciting thing we have been able to do is reach out to some of the members who are less active. We had a man named Brother Mercer. He originally was a little weirded out by our call, but we were able to share a quick message with him and he wanted us to call him back. I hope Elder Memmott can help him well.   We also got to go to Tampa a few times this week which was nice. Elder Porter needed to train the next technology specialist so I got to go on a couple day exchanges with the Carrollwood Elders.
