Just another week in the Great Seminole First area.

Hey Y'all,


I hope this past week has been great for y'all. Hopefully y'all have some great plans for General Conference, a missionary equivalent of the Super Bowl.


This week started out really well. On Monday we were able to have a good lesson with our friends the Brownell Family. That was super nice since it had been 2 weeks since we met with them last. Casey had been reading the Bible though and understands that the fall of Adam and Eve was a positive thing. We are going to meet with her tonight. I am excited to see them.


On Tuesday we were also able to go play basketball. One of our members comes every Tuesday and plays basketball with a whole bunch of nonmembers. They are all very kind though and I am excited to keep going and improving my ballin skills.


We also had a lot of good lessons with our friend Aloicious. He is someone we met about 7 weeks ago. We saw him a few weeks ago and have now had 3 lessons with him. He is reading the Book of Mormon and we are going to try to watch General Conference. One other cool fact about him is that he is a chaplain at a hospital and he used to hand out copies of the Book of Mormon. I am excited to keep working with him.


We also got back in contact with Colton. He had broken his phone and moved. The day that he got his phone back I had a feeling we should reach out to him. We were able to meet with him the next day and he seemed super excited to see us. I am glad we found him and I am excited to see him at church again.


Other than that it has been a good week. I look forward to making this a better one. I hope you have a great week and God Bless!

Thanksgiving and Transfers!!!   Hey y'all! Hopefully Thanksgiving went well for y'all. I know that it went well for us here in the Palm Harbor area.   This last week has been full of miracles. I have gained a surety this week that Heavenly Father is aware of me and everyone and that he truly is in the details of our lives. Multiple times this week Elder Mainor and I have received promptings on where to go and miracles have occurred. One of them is we felt like we should go to a neighborhood with a couple of people that we could stop by, but would most likely not be home. One of the people was Walt. He is always busy and the last 3 times we have tried to contact him it has not gone well. Then on Saturday he was supposed to work all day for one person and he finished early. That is how we were able to see him in his garage and talk to him. He was very kind and had us give him a couple of chapters to read from the Book of Mormon.   "I'LL BE HOME FOR (EASTER)" Hey Y'all,   Wow, this is it. My final weekly and final day in the Tampa Florida mission. Time really has flown by. I never thought I would get to this day. I have enjoyed every second of it though in retrospect at least.   So this week was pretty slow. We have had some good things happen. One exciting thing we have been able to do is reach out to some of the members who are less active. We had a man named Brother Mercer. He originally was a little weirded out by our call, but we were able to share a quick message with him and he wanted us to call him back. I hope Elder Memmott can help him well.   We also got to go to Tampa a few times this week which was nice. Elder Porter needed to train the next technology specialist so I got to go on a couple day exchanges with the Carrollwood Elders.
