Light the World!!!

 Hey Y'all,

It's officially the Christmas season! I am excited to go out and make this year one of the best Christmas seasons ever. I hope y'all will be able to enjoy all of the traditions you have at home as well.

This week was really cool. We were able to see a lot of great things happen. One of the biggest things that happened was we had an amazing lesson with Patrick at the Bleakley's. We were able to teach him the rest of the commandments including the law of the fast and tithing and he said he would live all of them. He has already seen that living these laws brings blessings. I am so excited to see him enter the waters of baptism THIS WEEK! He truly is prepared for the gospel and is going to become a great converted member.

We also were able to volunteer at the Shepherd center. This is a facility that does a lot of outreach to help members of the community in Tarpon Springs. There are quite a few homeless people that really benefit from these services they provide. This time we went and we sorted through food to find stuff for them to make packages for those who need Christmas dinner. It was a really fun experience. Elder Mainor and I have had some friends who benefit a lot from these services. I am so grateful for them and the work they do.

We also had a really cool member meal this week. It was with the Wargo family who are all really nice. They took us out to Carrabas which was really good. Sister Wargo told us her conversion story which was really cool. One miracle is we were wondering whether to stay and have dessert with them or not and eventually we did stay and have dessert and it took a while. Because we did stay though we were able to visit our friend Larry who had got back 10 minutes before we got there.

The Christmas devotional was another highlight this week. We were able to go over to the Glaus family who just sent off their youngest son on a mission. It was really cool to see hear all of those talks on the spirit of Christmas. I am so excited to use those gifts even more that President Nelson was talking about.

Other than that, it was another great week in Palm Harbor. I am so excited to go and help people more this next week. I hope y'all enjoy this next week.

God Bless!!
