Transfers tomorrow!


Hey Y'all,


I hope everyone is doing pretty well with the new school year starting up. I know that y'all will have a good time no matter where you are at.

This week was a little slower week. We were not able to meet with a lot of the people that are interested in the church this week. One of the greatest miracles that Elder Arima and I saw was that Giuseppe was able to come to the ward party with his family and they all had a good time. The ward members down here in North Port were able to fellowship him a lot so that was a great time.

We were also able to meet with Billy and Ashley this week. They are getting ready to move so it was a bit hectic when we went over there. They are feeding us dinner tonight so that will be a good time.

Giovannie also had us do some service for him. We went over to his house since he was having a lot of family over there. We helped him clean out his garage and pool area which took 5 hours. It was  a long time. He also had us teach some of his siblings so that was really cool. They seemed really interested so hopefully they will be able to contact the missionaries in their hometowns.

This week we also had a power outage at our apartment. Our guess is that the box for our apartment building got struck by lightning. They had 5 trucks outside working on fixing it. We were able to take some cool pictures in the dark because of that though.

Also we got transfer calls today. Elder Arima and I are both getting transferred out of North Port. Elder Arima is going to Wesley Chapel in Tampa and I am going to Palm Harbor in Saint Petersberg. My new companion will be Elder Christensen. I am excited to meet him but I am also sad to leave Elder Arima. He is a very kind and funny missionary. I hope he does well throughout his mission. 

We also set up a booth outside of the library with a whiteboard with the question "What did you pray for?" That did not go as well as we though it would. We had about 5 people talk to us in 5 hours.

Other than that, nothing much has changed. I will let you know how Palm harbor goes next week. I hope y'all have a great day!

Thanksgiving and Transfers!!!   Hey y'all! Hopefully Thanksgiving went well for y'all. I know that it went well for us here in the Palm Harbor area.   This last week has been full of miracles. I have gained a surety this week that Heavenly Father is aware of me and everyone and that he truly is in the details of our lives. Multiple times this week Elder Mainor and I have received promptings on where to go and miracles have occurred. One of them is we felt like we should go to a neighborhood with a couple of people that we could stop by, but would most likely not be home. One of the people was Walt. He is always busy and the last 3 times we have tried to contact him it has not gone well. Then on Saturday he was supposed to work all day for one person and he finished early. That is how we were able to see him in his garage and talk to him. He was very kind and had us give him a couple of chapters to read from the Book of Mormon.   "I'LL BE HOME FOR (EASTER)" Hey Y'all,   Wow, this is it. My final weekly and final day in the Tampa Florida mission. Time really has flown by. I never thought I would get to this day. I have enjoyed every second of it though in retrospect at least.   So this week was pretty slow. We have had some good things happen. One exciting thing we have been able to do is reach out to some of the members who are less active. We had a man named Brother Mercer. He originally was a little weirded out by our call, but we were able to share a quick message with him and he wanted us to call him back. I hope Elder Memmott can help him well.   We also got to go to Tampa a few times this week which was nice. Elder Porter needed to train the next technology specialist so I got to go on a couple day exchanges with the Carrollwood Elders.
